George Cole, acupuncture physician, began his career in 1973 as a massage therapist under the tutelage of Susan Calendar in London, England. He practiced massage therapy and served as a drug and special needs counselor at various locations around the world for more than two decades. In 1991, he began his studies of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Community School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in North Miami, Florida. While a student at the school, George met Daniel Atchison-Nevel, an instructor and the schools academic Dean; and was asked to become his Florida approved apprentice. In the traditional style of apprentice and teacher, George specialized in the study and practice of acupuncture’s Extraordinary Vessels, a modern adaptation of a twenty-three generation style that addresses both mind and body to treat the deepest and most profound aspect of human functioning and disease.
